We are Magdalena Bennasar and Carmen Notario and belong to the Religious Institute: Word of God Community.

Theology degrees

Magdalena got her Master of Divinity from the Franciscan School of Theology, Berkeley, and Carmen from the Jesuit School of Theology, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

We have been in ministry for more than twenty years sharing faith with people of different ages and walks of life. We have spent most of our time working in ministry in USA from where we just came back.

     Besides our degrees and pastoral experience we have been enriched by participating in many conferences, retreats and congresses in USA .

The fact of being bilingual has given us the opportunity to work from Campus Ministry to Prison Ministry, as well as in Diocesan teams of lay formation for ministry.

We have done retreat work and created small faith communities as well as designed a program for Hispanic Young Adults.

We have been enriched by important theologians as well as by young men and women that had just crossed the Mexican border.

Kneading together prayer, theology and ministry experience we feel empowered to offer this our new ministry with passion.
